There are a few different ways you can find biographical books and articles through the library. To find print books, do a subject search of "biography" in the catalog on the library homepage: http://library.tctc.edu/. To narrow your search, go to "New Search" and "power search". Then search by the subject biography and put in the name of the person you're studying as another subject term. This should give you any books we have on that person, but you may want articles too.
The easiest way to find may depend on what your person was famous for. If the person you're studying was a famous artist, go to Art History page: http://library.tctc.edu/arthistory, you'll find many types of online reference sources with useful biographical information, including the Oxford Companion to Western Art.
