YouTube will usually give you an opportunity to get the embedded code (this is usually close to the "share" button). It is possible that you might need the old code so try the new code and if that doesn't work, then ask for the old code. Power Point has a place where you can actually embed video and audio. Follow the directions on the Power Point creation toolbar.
For PowerPoint 2010
First, select a YouTube video to embed. Click Share. Click Embed. Click Use Old Embed Code. Copy the embed code.
To embed the video, open your Powerpoint presentation and go to the Insert tab, click the arrow under Video and select the Video from online video site option.
This will open a new window where you have to paste the embed code. After you have added the code, click Insert.
You can now resize the inserted video and customize it however you like. To test the video, click Play on the ribbon or run your slideshow.
