Rahael.

There are a few databases that you can use to find information on the Middle East during the 1970s. One of them is 'Daily Life through History', http://dailylife2.abc-clio.com/Topics. It is listed by time period. You may want to select the section on 'Life in the Modern World, 1900 - Present'. Since Turkey was predominantly an Islamic country in the 70s, you may want to choose 'Islam in the Modern World'. That article provides information about everything Islamic during the 20th century.

To find information on Lebanon itself, Culture Grams is a good source, http://online.culturegrams.com/world/index.php. You can select a country by clicking on the map where Lebanon is or type the term 'Lebanon' in the search box. This is the page on Lebanon, http://online.culturegrams.com/world/world_country.php?&contid=12&wmn=Asia&cn=Lebanon&cid=89. On the left panel you will see that it has everything about the country, including its history.
