First, go to our Science and technology link at the bottom of the library home page http://library.tctc.edu/science
On the Science page, find the “Databases” area. From the Databases, select “Science In Context”.
Search, for example, “lignin” in the search box. There’s 500+ academic journals, most of which deal with experiments. Click on the “Academic Journal” link anyway!
Now go down the right side and find “Document Types”. Things listed as “Articles” or “Brief Articles” are what you are looking for.
